“Peridot!” he exclaimed happily as he floated down beside her. “Delightful to finally meet you."
“Say, you’re a smart Gem—do you know what to call an acid with an attitude?”

“The star suits you, Peridot,” Bismuth remarked. She hadn’t had to wait for a friend to reform in thousands of years, and despite that she had patiently sat by and waited for the newest Crystal Gems to do so. No one had minded. They’d situated Peridot and Lapis’ gems in the living room, and while the others attended to things relevant to the diamonds? Bismuth settled.
Peridot in particular she had wanted to check in on. She didn’t know the green Gem as well as the others did. What she had learned in fighting alongside her, though, had impressed the blacksmith.
“You know,” she said, “I’ve fought alongside a lot of Gems in my day. But I’ve never seen anyone brave enough to run right up to Yellow Diamond and call her Yellow Clod to her face! You got some real spunk!”
She did wonder when the last time Peridot had done something like that was, though. The shorter of the two had asked Yellow Diamond if she remembered her. There’d be time for questions sooner or later, though. She'd given Peridot a chance to say anything she wanted to.
If you're still doing this I'd love to see Peridot in 2c and 1c acessory~

“Peridot! Peridot, you’ll never guess what!” Throwing his arms up in the air as he rushed over to the green gem, Steven’s smile was wide and clearly excited. “I talked to my dad about you, me and Amethyst wanting to do some farming and gardening, and he looked into it for us! He decided to buy us a patch of land out in the country! I mean, it’s only small, but.. it’s somewhere for us to grown more flowers and. it gives us something to do! D’you wanna come check it out?”

* hey uh, not to intrude but you're lookin' just a bit LOST and i can't say i've seen you around here before, you need some help?
Though Sans certainly didn't know EVERYONE in the underground, he was pretty familiar with those around Snowdin, Waterfall and he knew a fair few in Hotland, even if that was just in passing. An entirely unfamiliar face was a rarity and even stranger still was the fact that he wasn't even sure what kind of monster they were.
* i'm sans, sentry around here, here to help folk and whatever else was in the job description that i didn't read.

“Well --- that doesn’t look structurally sound --- but it’s pretty nifty!” Setting her hand onto her hip as she stepped out of her car, Honey peered at the amalgam of items which made up the improved barn, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose. Though it wasn’t her field, she could appreciate good use of architectural genius when she saw it!
“...Hello? Is anybody here?” Moving towards the barn, Honey gripped the strap of her purse, tilting her head to the side lightly. She sure could use some directions...

Pearl had been shaken by Iris’ close call; of course she had. Not only was Iris part of the family, but Pearl had also g.rown especially close to her over the years. It was a little easier for her to look at the positives, though. That usually wasn’t her strong suit, but...maybe it helped that she wasn’t Iris’ mother. Or maybe it helped that she had seen for herself - in heartbreaking clarity - just how much more badly things could have ended.
She’d talked to Amethyst first. Mostly because Amethyst had been a little easier to find, but they had an easier and more casual relationship. Had it done any lasting good? Only time would tell, but she had to try to help her friends somehow. She understood what they were feeling and why but she hated to see them continuing to torture themselves over something that couldn’t be changed now.
“Peridot?” Pearl approached her cautiously. They’d bonded since Peridot and Amethyst’s gemlings had arrived, but it could still be awkward trying to initiate conversation when things were tense. They were similar on many levels - especially in their tendency to speak their minds - but that could occasionally backfire on both of them. When she wasn’t sent away, though, she moved closer. “I thought maybe we could talk. I know this situation with Iris hasn’t been easy.” She sighed a little. “Everyone keeps telling you to focus on the fact that she’s fine, I’m sure, and there’s some truth in that...but I know what you’re feeling right now.”

Back to the barn, huh?
Though it was late, Steven insisted on going to the barn to tell Peridot and Lapis he was okay. It was only fair, he’d argued, and besides... he’d missed them. From what he could tell, Peridot would be working on the dropship that should take them to Homeworld, and true to form, he could see her small figure working on some kind of... ship when he approached, smiling slightly.
No time like the present.
“Um... Peridot? I... I’m home...!”
