Generation Kill Part 3: Screwby 

[Father Nate always guiding his sons.]

Nate: “Gunny, did the men get those new MRE’s?”

Gunny: “They did. They’re happy. These are the new ones with milkshakes. Strawberry, chocolate and vanilla.”

Nate: “Yummy”

[The fact that Nate canonically says ‘yummy’ is something I will never be over.]

Godfather: “I’m sure you’re aware there are some in this battalion who feel that Lieutenant Fick is unfit for command.”

Reporter: “…You should consider your sources, Sir.”

[Nate tries so damn hard to keep his platoon together and moving forward despite the ridiculous amount of incompetence he is faced with. Not only is he the only officer who knows what he’s doing, but he is consistently being punished or berated for it. He deserves better. Protect Nate Fick at all costs.]

Not to be creepy/weird/whatever but sometimes my brain just refers to you as Nate Fick I'll just be scrolling along, see you and think "oh, hey, Nate posted, cool."
