And so Hinoki and Fynn were married in a small private ceremony with just close friends and family in attendance.

And they had a party in their backyard! (side note this is the only time that cake cutting animation worked in my game)

Because of Sade's total and utter disdain for Fynn she had no involvement in planning the wedding. In they end they decided to keep it simple and get married at the courthouse and have the reception in their backyard. Enter: One of my favorite builds I've ever done.

But Sade decided to flip the switch on me and autonomously come over and be really sweet to Fynn so I decided maybe she wanted to walk her daughter down the aisle after all.

And I don't think she regretted it one bit.

On Mother's Day they arrange to meet Sade in downtown Senbamachi for lunch and a hike. Fynn thinks Hinoki's mother is terrifying but is hoping to ask for her blessing.

Sade Plott is an iconic queen and finds a way to turn the Hike to the temple into a wine hike.

When they reach the temple he works up the courage to ask for her blessing to marry Hinoki and she gives him a hearty 'fuck no'

Fynn didn't take it too hard though.

Baxter the dog Grew Up! Now he can conquer stairs and tiny Dog Sweaters!

Harvestfest was kind of a mess. Fynn was nominated for a Starlight Accolade, (he didn't win) Hinoki still has a festering grudge against her mother (Sade got super pissed when she saw Val's ultrasound idk), so they opted to hit up Bobs Big Gnome after for Grand Meals.

Hinoki is killin' the actor Career! She got promoted and Reached 4 Star Celebrity Status! They brought her character back from the dead and she's now a regular on Residency of the Heart!

Alex came over with an offer! He knows they're looking for a bigger place and he's tired of the Empty Penthouse in San Myshuno. He'll give them $200,000 to finance the mansion they had their eye on in Oasis Springs and he gets to live out his last few days as a played sim.

And Valerian grew into the worlds chunkiest toddler with NO CHIN???? We'll see how he grows up. sus.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Fynn started working on a song for the new bebe while Hinoki took it easy and lived off royalties for a while.

Congratulations, its an object! Valerian Plott, Gen 6 Heir, was born 11:50PM on Spooky Day.

And things were simple, and good.

After the wedding they adopted a puppy named Baxter and celebrated Father's Day! 🎉

I can only assume Alex is giving Fynn the "Legacy Spouse" talk. Alex: "And watch out for the legacy bees" Fynn: "Bees?" Alex: <stares directly into the camera>

On the last day of the vacation, with all the sad moodlets banished, they decided to visit the Festival of Lights.

That day Fynn made a promise to himself to propose to Hinoki when they got back home to Del Sol, blessing or no blessing.

And because all roads lead to my Griffith Observatory lot, he would have his chance to surprise her at the yearly Celebrity Charity Benefit to Raise Money for Something Something Rich People Problems.

He pulled some strings and set up a surprise proposal right on the spot where they had their first non modded kiss. 😌 romance
