In case you were curious about the dorky improv group I'm in, this pretty much encapsulates who we are perfectly. This was at GenCon 2013.

Um..
I am just going to tell you a story about my Armin cosplay that really made me upset. I was cosplaying Armin at Gencon this year and I was super excited and happy and I was the only Armin (at least the days I went or we just missed each other???) But it was the second day and I was carrying around my 3DMG which I made out of wood and they were at least 7lbs each. I was getting tired and all that but I kept on after all my friends who were in Pandora Hearts cosplay. Anyway we walked down a hallway where tons of people were gathered for something and I stopped to ask a man what they were waiting for. He looked at me and told me they were waiting for a new game or something that didnt really interest me so I started to walk off but he asked for a picture so I said ok. After I posed and took the picture he asked me what I was from and I said Attack on Titan (very proudly of course) and he looked at me and laughed "Oh! You're the useless one!"
That really made me upset, almost to the point of yelling at him but I kept my cool and stayed calm and just simply said "Armin isnt useless" Then spun around and ran (with 14lbs of wood on my sides) off to my friends who I proceeded to rant to about how Armin isnt useless. I think people who think that are people who watch shows for the main character and the popularity. I personally give every character a chance and I decide whether or not I like them or not after they have a chance to redeem themselves. Armin grows so much over such a short period and I love watching him grow mentally. If for some reason you "hate" Armin or any of the other characters I feel bad for you because you arnt enjoying the show like others are. Seeing all of them go into battle and fight for their lives is incredible and only liking Eren or Mikasa or even Levi because you "are afraid that if you get attached to a side character that they will die" isnt the best way of watching the show. Just thought I would share cause like... idk I want everyone to be attached as I am.
