Just venting
i was thinking of the label ‘genderfluid demigirl’, because of how the way it just looks and sounds just feels like it would fit me, but honestly i’m not sure how i feel about the term ‘girl’ being in there
like i feel like i wouldn’t lean heavily into being a man because i personally don’t feel that masculine, but terms like ‘woman’, ‘lady’ and ‘girl’ just feel a little too feminine for me personally
i just wish i understood the terms genderqueer and genderfluid a bit better because i honestly don’t know where i am and i don’t really know what the terms cover exactly
like i just WISH that i knew who i was because it’s genuinely causing me a good deal of distress
Just a question - especially to people who identify as genderfluid or demigirls/boys - how do you experience gender? I'm figuring out mine and I know I'm not 100% female but I'm not sure if the female part of me is just because of my assigned gender or not. I know it's not a race and that there are many individual experiences of gender, but I'm having a great deal of dysphoria and would just like to see if I might understand myself a bit better.
i honestly don’t know if i’m nonbinary and just finding it alright to masquerade as my assigned gender (to a certain degree) or if i do actually feel to an extent the gender i was given when i was born alongside a degree of androgyny
Vent post I guess?
I don't really know what's wrong with me, I love being a woman and I feel like being one..but at the same time is like my body wasn't even mine. I feel like a trans girl, I feel like I should be a girl, but I AM a girl. I was born a woman
I don't know what it is, but I feel like I'm not a woman, but I want to be
I feel so uncomfortable thinking about having the body of a man, idk it just doesn't feel like me. I feel like I'm supposed to be a girl and I love being a woman, I'm literally a girlfailure and it's so funny to me. But then I feel like I'm not a real girl, just pretending to be one.
Maybe it has to do with my body image problems. I've been struggling with eating disorders since a young age. I lost my period due to my anorexia, and even now that it's getting better I'm unable to not skip meals at least once a week
I've tried other gender identities, gender fluid, agender, bigender, and they all felt AMAZING. I don't mind being called he/him pronouns, I even use them myself. But, at the end of the day I always go back to being a woman, even if I feel I'm a fake one. It just feels right, but it hurts for some reason, but at the same time that pain feels so good so comforting as if it was meant to be there. But I don't think I'm supposed to feel hurt by my gender identity.
Idk I just want to not feel like this when I'm all alone, I want to stop feeling that this skin is not mine and that I am genuinely a woman, but there's really nothing I can do about it since I'm AFAB. But I just wanted to rant about it for a while
A little less gender dysphoria, a little more affirmation
Y'know, I'm never sure if I'm always playing a charade when it comes to my gender. I could be wearing a dress, or then a T-shirt and a pair of jeans and honestly I'm not sure exactly why I still feel discomfort no matter what I wear.
Not sure if I feel female just because I was assigned it as a gender or that I genuinely express it outside of that
