Greek yogurt & almond butter is the reason I’m not dead
I'm having a weird as fuck day today with my gender. Yesterday I got my hair dyed and trimmed into a colour and style I've been wanting for a while, and this morning I took the time to apply some new make up into a look that I've been wanting to try for a while. My hair looks really good and I'm proud of my work with the make up and happy with how it looks in theory, but when I'm looking in the mirror, I'm not happy with looking this way. Like, I'm happy to have done the things I've been wanting to do, but I'm looking very femme today and when I look in the mirror I'm feeling very dysphoric and wishing I looked more masculine and missing my old masculine looking hair style before I grew it out. And I don't really know how to handle feeling both happy and dysphoric at the same time, and don't know how to feel about feeling both at the same time.
tl;dr: Feeling very dysphoric today, despite doing my hair and make up in a way I've wanted to for a while.
