•the seeds had been planted for jimmy vs jey for years. Roman had a lot to do with that; treating jimmy like the spare twin compared to jey bc he had no issues standing up to him, for jey. favoritism was in play.

•how many times did jey put roman over jimmy? too many.

•jey goes to raw to save jimmy when he kicked sami in the face. family shit.

•jimmy kicks roman in the face in saudi to save jey from the disrespect that he was tolerating. protecting him. jey was screaming for roman making sure HE was okay while jimmy is pleading with him to leave. 🙃

•jey gets them both out of the bloodline leading to the civil war at mitb. jey says he’ll never abandon jimmy.

•jimmy sabotaged the summerslam match and said he didn’t want jey to be corrupt like roman. cc: solo sikoa

•jimmy goes back to the bloodline because of accruing so many enemies; said he couldn’t do it alone. roman takes him back so he can do the bloodline dirty work.

•jey leaves smackdown and goes to raw - abandoning jimmy; then wins tag titles with the ops. jimmy felt a way; rightfully so.

•jimmy snaps and gets his licks back sabotaging jey in title matches; bloodline orders. (I supported every bit of it ngl)

•they go back and forth on brands and have their face off on raw (along with the YouTube vlogs). jimmy ate his ass right on up because he was not wrong then boom - they have their match at mania 40.

•the feud made all the sense in the world to me and it’s the hill I’m prepared to die on! realistically they were both wrong but team Jimmy all day! IDC.

•fast forward 6 months later jimmy is trying to make amends with jey first; even though they’re both wrong for reasons and both right for reasons.

Almost back.

my parents are both end-stage boomers and my dad is the only person over 40 i’ve ever met who’s said something like, “the older people fucked it up and then we fucked it up more by not doing anything about it.” his sister, who’s two years older, kind of rolled her eyes and i spoke before she could say anything because i’m sick of hearing the weak defenses of people who don’t know what it’s like to be a vagabond in your 30s and aware you’ll almost definitely never have your own home, or possibly even a home at all.

anyway then we all had a good laugh, because no one in this family believes in actually feeling things when you can deflect with humor.

I’m getting to be that age where I don’t know who today’s music artists are. I don’t want to be that old person complaining about modern musical taste and thinking the music I grew up listening to was far more superior.
