I did a little something today, and I like it. The small flowers are three kinds of purple. I like how delicate it is compared to cross stitch 💕💜
In amongst some of the things I got from my grandmas house, I saw a simple floral embroidery (right) and decided to put my own spin on it. I first made the floral parts out of my grandmas thread stash because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it yet and then expanded from there. I then decided to put a quote in the middle as it looked a bit bare and decided on this quote because it has a story behind it for me. What do you think? Not too shabby for a go at freestyle embroidery!
