➝ weird - hwamin has... a 4d personality, to say the least. being the maknae, she gets away with virtually everything. she is an extreme extrovert and she is the most eccentric one in the group. obviously, to others this can seem strange and annoying, but the five other girls have gotten used to hwamin’s antics and are basically immune.

➝ mature - a  h u g e  contrast to the previous paragraph. hwamin is the undoubtedly the best cook of the group, so she takes it upon herself to cook for the other members and she’s also really good at cleaning up after herself (much to the surprise of literally everyone). 

➝ creative - sometimes there’s method to her madness. the reason she goes shopping so much is to buy ingredients for cooking, and she always experiments in the kitchen to see what goes well together. her style can sometimes be...unique, but at the end of the day everyone enjoys her cooking. as a child, she was interested in film and would make homemade movies for her parents to watch.

➝ clumsy - if hwamin had a penny for every ‘hwamin falling’ compilation she saw on youtube, she’d have enough money to buy herself a new pair of legs. somehow this poor girl is always tripping over her own feet or bumping into random objects. she can never catch a break, bless her. 

➝ unpredictable - not necessarily mood swings, per se, but hwamin has these moments where she would do something  c o m p l e t e l y  out of the blue with no explanation, then never talk about it for eternity. this one time, the group were backstage at mama, and out of nowhere sis starts doing cartwheels all over the place for like 30 seconds. still no explanation as to why she did that, but hey, that’s hwamin. 

➝ cute - despite her weird nature, hwamin’s cuteness and young age has all the members babying and cooing at her. to make up for the one year of training she got before debuting, hwamin always pushes herself to the limit and the other girls find that endearing. also, the way she will make food for them if they’re feeling down and just sit with them, being in their company. also have you seen her asleep? the definition of babie.

hwamin only got into the idol business because her parents wanted her to, but eventually she realised she wanted it for herself.

she is allergic to lupin and mustard, so she cannot eat anything containing either. when she was six, she had an allergic reaction to a burger containing lupin and almost died. (that shouldn’t be funny but i can’t keep a straight face writing that JDJJKDKHFJ) 

she is a diagnosed shopaholic: she is obsessed with going out to malls and buying whatever she wants. most of her free time is spent dragging a reluctant hyunbin out to have a shopping spree.

one time, hwamin got “cancelled” for saying she would try pineapple on pizza. dawns literally trended ‘hwamin pineapple’, ‘hwamin traitor’ and ‘we trusted you’ because of it. 💀💀

she likes binge watching korean dramas, her favourite at the moment are my first first love and abyss. 

hwamin is the biggest exo-l you’ll ever meet and her bias is sehun. she collects merch, buys their physical albums and even owns a lightstick!

she shares a dorm with hyunbin and to the latter’s surprise, hwamin is a clean roommate and she never leaves any mess.
