lookie, I went to a concert
Whelp, I know no one follows this blog for my commentary, but I do what I want.
I got to see the Regrettes in the flesh on Friday! The whole experience was amazing. A few things, just because~
- the crowd was really nice. Everyone was very into it, ofc, but also just seemed like they wanted to have fun and weren't, like, unapproachably cool
- afterward at the merch table I saw Drew and his grandma (?) He was very sweet and got her a hoodie and took selfies and introduced her to the dude at the merch table.
- (Also his grandma had purple hair)
- for poor boy, Lydia had all the men go to the back, and we had an all femme (+ enby) pit right at the front. It felt so good just to scream that one out all pressed up next to people like me
- Genessa is smol
- Unfortunately I don't have pictures or videos (except one of me making a very very weird face) but there were many phones out so you could deffo find something somewhere
- I brought my friend who'd never even heard of the Regrettes and she loved it! They absolutely know how to put on a show.
Did anyone else make it to one of the shows? lmk what you all thought.
