No listen, I do think the reason YJ provides such good shipping material is they half set up so many character dynamics like this (unfortunately inevitable in a show with a large cast)

That being said there’s so much really interesting stuff between them that we never actually get. The one I love pointing to is that first pic where Gen is actually the first to recognize Nat as leader after Lottie (including with what I think was a traditional Filipino gesture)

im kind of hesitant with shipping them, purely because of their expert–apprentice dynamic. I think if we'd seen literally any on screen interaction between them to do with hunting, I'd lean one way or another but, as it stands as dialogue in passing... meh. might as well!

would've been REALLY cool for nat to maybe see things while they're out hunting and gen to bring her back to earth, or even see it too! or if a deer charged at them and one of them saved the other? BONDING! platonic or romantic!!

Vanessa Prasad is so good at interviews

the mechanism on the arrow scene is so fascinating

Vanessa wanted to also comfort Melissa in that scene but being respectful of the direction and blocking im crying (and learning that she can be braver and suggest acting choices!!! Liv's impact!!!!)
