Death to Traditional Horror Elements

Today, together, we mourn the loss of traditional horror elements. 

The literary elements that once scared us, such as gore and shock effect, are now a thing of the past. We no longer have the ability to rely on cheap blood and cliche slashers to keep us awake at night, fearing our own dreams. Whatever may we do?!

But fear not, feeble peasants, for the (not so) Great, H.P. Lovecraft gifts us with a new taste for fear. As we break free from the shackles of corn syrup mixed with red dye, we enter a new era in which we are left with detachment and unanswered questions. As his work emphasizes our vulnerable and weak sanity, he broadens the characteristics of what makes a piece of literature, horror.

This song is a dubstep song. The music videos are always fights in dubstep. I made the video funny because I was trying to make fun of the fight that went on. I think the fight was dumb and shouldn't have went down.

Genre 3: Facebook Tennyson

https://www.facebook.com/tennyson.sternberger.33 Mapu and I as partners needed to step it up and. Move to a level two or three. So we did. We made a Facebook page, for Tennyson. This is significant because he is a 15 year old kid and should have a Facebook for himself. He is very good at lacrosse so he got photos from their and posted status. We also chose to do a Facebook page because we feel we know the character a little better, and we know what his traits and characteristics are!

Genre 3 Letter Explanation Our genre 3 project was a letter from Tennyson's mother to her husband. This letter, as you can see, has been crumpled up because the letter was never sent. The letter is mainly about Tennyson's mother, Angela, and how she has not been attending her Monday Night Education classes. Instead, she has been dating another man. In the letter, she talks about her doubts about marrying Homer (her husband) and how Angela and the other man met. This is out of the box thinking because we needed to make up a story about what happened between Angela and this other man. The names we came up with for Tennyson's parents were also based on famous English Poets, just like their children. In conclusion, Angela writes her sincerest apologies, based on her actions, and expresses her overflowing love to her husband and children.
