This is so true!! 🤣😂
Hello,
Do you have a prognostic about the outcome of The Boyfriend? Like how many couples in the end? Who could end with whom? And do you think they are contractually bound to not show/say anything untill all episode have been released?
Thank you, have a nice day/evening
Oh, that's hard.
My guess is that: Gensei and Ryota will just stay friends. I think Ikuo is not done yet pursuing Kazuto, because he did not look happy about him choosing Alan. Ultimately, my guess is that Kazuto will choose to stay alone and will probably need a vacation after because he's so stressed. I think Usak and Kazuto might have been interesting together had Usak stayed for longer.
As for Dai and Shun: Unless Dai majorly messes up and kisses someone else, which I can't see happening, I think he and Shun are pretty solid now. So solid that I do believe that even outside of the house and with proper communication and, yes, I'll say it again, therapy for Shun, they can last a long time. Dai is everything Shun needs, and it sounds like he even has the family that Shun wants. And Dai is so crazy about Shun and finds even the things endearing that would drive others crazy. They have more in common than one would suspect at first glance.
So based on that, my take is: Dai and Shun will make it past the show at least (after that, only time will tell how compatible their lives are), but I don't see much potential for any of the others. Unless, of course, they meet up after the show and then become like a slow-burn friends-to-lovers kind of thing, but I don't know, I can't imagine it.
Let me know what you think! We have a week to wait, so let's start the speculations!
(Spoiler, The Boyfriend ep9) Excuse me? My dear Gensei is leaving the Green room, noooo!!!! Awwwm my poor baby is crying TT NOOO!!!! I love you Gensei, forever and forever. May you shine bright like a star until the very end <3

“With the happiness held in one square-inch heart
you can fill the whole space between heaven and earth.”
----Gensei
Trailing my stick I go down to the garden edge,
call to a monk to go out the pine gate.
A cup of tea with my mother,
looking at each other, enjoying our tea together.
In the deep lanes, few people in sight;
the dog barks when anyone comes or goes.
Fall floods have washed away the planks of the bridge;
shouldering our sandals, we wade the narrow stream.
By the roadside, a small pavilion
where there used to be a little hill:
it helps out our hermit mood;
country poems pile one sheet on another.
I dabble in the flow, delighted by the shallowness of the stream,
gaze at the flagging, admiring how firm the stones are.
The point in life is to know what’s enough–
why envy those otherworld immortals?
With the happiness held in one inch-square heart
you can fill the whole space between heaven and earth.
Gensei, 17th c
