"It Will Rain" - Bruno Mars For Tia - sweetfleet
This was one take without practicing any of the vocal or piano stuff (which is why it's all janky and I mess up a lot). I just hit the record button and played a thing 'cause it was stuck in my head.
If you hear birdies in there it's 'cause my windows were open :)
"Sonate Pathetique Op. 13 (First Movement)" - Ludwig van Beethoven
Okay, so I was looking through old recordings on a computer and this is a recording from five years ago (when I was 15) of me playing the first movement of Beethoven's 'Sonate Pathetique Op. 13'.
The timing is complete shite and during one part when I was speeding up everything just totally must have gotten away from me? Also, I talk and laugh in it because it's me and I've never taken anything seriously.
But all the same, this piece is very difficult, there's a lot of crossing over of hands and complicated fingering and things like that (look up a pro play it and watch their hands, it's pretty cool stuff) plus I did have it memorized.
Basically, I just wanted to show a clip of the level of music I can play since I've gotten questions about whether or not I play classical piano.
What really sucks is this is just the first movement of the sonata but for the next year's recital I played this movement in addition to the second and third movements... and now I've forgotten all of them :(
If I find any other (hopefully better) recordings laying around I'll post them too!
you should go back to your old url. this one's dumb imo.
I am Spockmonkey.
Purifiedemon is a thing of the past.
I'm not changing and I'm not sorry.
