His only response was a grunt, before his arms reached out, patting the bed until he found his target. Moving forward, he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her in, her back to his front. Jung-hoo yawned once, then twice, before finding sanctuary in the hair was now half across his face and nuzzling in, trying to escape whatever light was able to barge in through the windows. “ I thought someone had been ringing the doorbell…” 

He muttered sleepily, forgetting at this moment between being awake and asleep that the doorbell had been broken for years now and he had never repaired it, not once did he even attempt it. He was so out of it, that he didn’t find it odd that there was a warm body in the bed with him, or that his arms had wrapped around it keeping it close as if being away from it would cause him to lose any source of warmth. None of this even crossed his mind as he enjoyed the feel of holding someone against him and the way his cheek pressed against her back.

Remus spotted the woman raising to wave her over to the spot he was seated. Carefully seating himself back down when she joined him. The establishment he chose was one that rather looked like it hadn’t been cared for in years. The amount of violations it held was clear. But it was one where he knew no one would bat an eye over the subjects they were about to go over. “Thank you for joining me, Minerva. I do apologize for the short notice and this place.” He leaned slightly toward her. “Now where would you like to start?”

Ronan was wrapping his hands to protect his knuckles from impact. Putting the handwraps on was practically second nature for him now. Without diverting his attention from his handwraps he gave a roll of his eyes, knowing that Lex could see his face easily enough.

HANDS ON HIPS, fong paced back and forth as he scoured his own brain for other options. “i don’t know what else to do.” finally stopping, he sighed, pulling a chair in front of charlie to meet him eye to eye. “look, clearly i’m compromising your mission by being involved. yes, we have the same goal but it came to a point when i am the unsafe option. do you understand what i’m trying to say?” 

raking his hair, he shuddered as he admitted to his own past to clarify, “i’ve done things in the past - and suffice to say... they are victims to those... THINGS.” he fell silent for seconds, allowing that to sink in for a moment before he looked away from charlie, shaking his head, eyes warm with threatening tears of that suffocating guilt. “i’m sorry to have dragged you into this. but i can’t make amends to these people if clearly i’m not wanted. i’m afraid you’re on your own from here, nong.”

he chewed on the corner of his lip to HOLD BACK his laughter. so maybe he got a little too creative about haunting urban legends - even though it was technically a library, WAS being the keyword. but art promised tana some educational sight-seeing and he already anticipated the delight associated with tana’s fondness of books and history. he just failed to anticipate THIS REACTION. 

and so when he said he was just going to get them drinks and about to leave tana to do explore the abandoned LIBRARY on his own, he felt a little triumphant when tana asked him not to leave. art couldn’t help the cheeky hints on his tone when he nodded, “Ohooo,” his head tilted to one side, “I can stay. But it’s not because you’re scared... right?”
