I bought some brand new things from vendors at a recent con, but the flea market always is a highlight of the weekend. Two Donald Featherstone miniature wargaming books from the 1970s were $2 each, adding to my collection from the prolific author. One of these includes a somewhat obscure battle I'm currently researching, and I also happened to pick up some related miniatures and terrain at other tables.
And Warmaster for $1, with Geoff Taylor's skeleton war cover art. Rick Priestley's game of mass combat with 10mm scale figures is having a resurgence at the moment, with an active online community supporting a free version of the rules similar to Mordheim, and many digital sculptors making 10mm STLs. I wouldn't call it "old school" but there are players today with jobs, families, and mortgages who weren't born when it was released in 2000, so maybe just old-ish in 2025.
