How were you discovered?

I saw a billboard for Actor’s, Models and Talent for Christ (AMTC) and asked my parents to drive me to Detroit for the audition. I received a call-back and went through their “Bridge Training” and showcased my talents (acting, modeling and dancing), for industry VIPs at the SHINE convention at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida.

What were you doing prior to modeling?

Prior to modeling I was dancing for a competition dance team, going to school and playing on my middle school volleyball team. I also enjoyed going to summer camps for swimming, diving and volleyball.

People would be surprised to know?

I LOVE old-school Motown music!!! I can sing along to every Michael Jackson and Jackson Five song! I eat a lot of food but, I burn all those calories up dancing! I LOVE to go to museums and can spend hours looking around. I also love watching documentaries on historical figures.

What is your latest Obsession?

My lasted obsessions are knee-high and fuzzy socks. I also love making designs with Perler Beads…my latest creation is Michael Jackson doing his Smooth Criminal “hat-tipping move”.

What is your most prized possession?

The baby ring my mom bought for me when I was born. It is so tiny and delicate.

What is your best dance memory?

I love every single dance experience but, my best memory is when I was 5 years old and in my first ballet – Sleeping Beauty. I was a little fairy and was “thrown” over the shoulder of the giant – Markus Shields, my hip hop teacher. Recently, I attended the 24seven Dance Convention where tWitch was one of the choreographers…I won a Hip Hop Award.

Growing up, who did you look up to as your hero?

I have many heroes in my life. I am blessed to be surrounded by people who love and support me. I have parents, grandparents and great-grandparents who sacrifice to give me amazing opportunities.

When is the last time you said "I love you" to someone? Today I said “I love you” to my mom…she made me the most scrumptious BBQ meatballs!!!

Describe your personal style…

My personal style is diverse. I love comfy clothes like jeans, t-shirts and sweatshirts from either Gap, Hollister, or Abercrombie. I would love to model for them some day. I also love dressing up and any kind of shoe. My family calls me Imelda Marcos because I love shoes so much!

Your favorite place you have traveled to?

Harry Potter World at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida was one of my favorite places to visit. I also loved Washington, DC because of the Smithsonian Museums.

Your favorite film?

Miss Annie Rooney staring Shirley Temple is one of my favorite movies! I could watch it over and over and I love to mimic the dancing.

Your favorite sport or sports figure?

My favorite sports are dance (yes, it is a sport) and volleyball. I enjoy watching Michigan State Basketball with my grandmother. Go Green!

If there’s a destination or item you would recommend us to check out or visit about your town what would you recommend?

West Michigan has the most amazing beaches! You should definitely check out Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park – it is so beautiful. I also recommend that you check out Art Prize! It is a 10-day art competition and it is amazing! Art Prize occurs every fall in Grand Rapids and draws artists from all over the world!!

Your favorite song/artist?

My favorite artist is Michael Jackson, I love the songs Bad, Rock With You, and Blame It On the Boogie. My favorite band is Cold Play and their songs Clocks and Violet Hill.

What is your wish for 2016?

I would love to travel to Paris, France. I am taking French in high school and hope to travel to Paris with my school, if not before for modeling!
