The hardest thing I've ever had to do is learn how to love myself

There are still days it feels futile

Yet, it's the choice I make everyday

It's tough to break habits

But it's not as challenging when you've got a healthy support system

Someone to help pull you out from under that spell and opening your eyes to the truth

To remind you of all the good and be understanding through that time

They let you take the lead but follow every step of the way

And continue to help push you to be better

Take a step away from things or people that are a hindrance

Once you make the concious effort, breaking the habit gets easier

Until you've turned that effort into a habit itself

Now you've got a good habit

Took me entirely too long to make the changes I should have been making long ago

Some of them had to be forced on me

But now that I'm on my way, I'm on the true road to happiness
