There is always a hint of both melancholy and joy in Gerald's debut solo album, "Solitude", and the most interesting tracks for us are these two: "Raining Flower" serves really good as a sweet prelude to the sadness and loneliness of loss in "Gone". One cannot help but to wonder what kind of experience Gerald has been through to be able to write such a really bittersweet piece of music. . Working on these two songs being woven into one piece of music enables us to tell a further story of life being created and ended. Isn't it a cycle we are all being imprisoned into? Telling a story of life is never an easy task for anyone, but surely it is a really enjoyable one, especially when life is depicted this way through Gerald's music. . I'm gonna share a little bit about my new OTP. They are Marco Steffiano (the tall one with glasses) and Gerald Situmorang a.k.a Gesit (the one with the fabulous long hair) from a band called Barasuara. For now, I still call this ship as MarSit :p Well, it's usual for me to ship the drummer and the bassist of a band, but look at them. THEY ARE SO CUTE AND THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE ASDFGHJKL (reminds me of KuroDai tbh). Also, Marco reffered to Gerald as Gernal and it's the cutest petname ever asdfghjkl.
