I'd pick Munich, Leipzig and Tübingen as nice cities. The other cities have nice parts, but I'd definitely rate other cities way higher.

nice, leipzig has a lot of gothic architecture. as your eternal black forest enthusiast freiburg’s gonna have my vote.
