German political cartoon of Napoleon as Cerberus, the hound of Hades who guards the gates of the Underworld.

He stands on a globe on which he has left bloody footprints. The head of Napoleon in profile is shown in the upward curved tail of the animal. The right front paw of the dog rests on a skull, which he is licking, the other carries on a rectangular block with the inscription “Term”. Below, flames emerge, within which the word “Pyriphlegelon” [Phlegethon], (a river in the underworld) stands.

Published in Berlin in 1814, by the Henschel brothers.

Translation:

My name is Cerberus and I am also a chameleon/ when heated I change color.

Ms. Western is rockin' A-Ethnic.

So here comes yet another wedding related article. Though previously, I had ranked my top 8 wedding gowns, I'm going ethnic and African roots garments. Why, why and why? Kitchen parties! Every African woman MUST have a kitchen party prior to her wedding and what better outfit and I mean much better choice in outfits to wear than a 'German Print' pattern. It changes in names: german print, leteise, shweshwe and so much much more but it's home to Africa and it's going with me to my sister-in-laws kitchen party.

Fashion shows amaze me with their shady African attire. Though that middle one certainly had me blog this shot!

Once again, love African based fashion shows but shady outfits pop up once again. Nevertheless, glancing at that middle shot, if I put that 'so called' ethnic print out of my mind (take hallucinogens and imagine it's not there) the design is worth making a German Print dress out of. Totally Worth It!

With that said, I think I'll be rockin' the design in the middle shot to the kitchen party. Of course, I'll be tweekin' it here and there, don't be silly!
