Yesterday, June 23rd was National Typewriter Day. This date is to commemorate the anniversary of the patent awarded to Christopher Latham Sholes, Carlos Glidden, and Samuel W. Soule in 1868 in the United States, marking a pivotal moment in the history of written communication.

A remarkable historical record of early European industrialization, commerce and politics as reflected in the graphic design of poster art.
