Today is the 33rd annual #nationalcancersurvivorsday & I am blessed to be part of this #celebration. In less than 2 yrs I went from near-death to speaking on a @tedx_official stage! In 2017 I was diagnosed w/ a rare & aggressive #germcelltumor #cancer in my chest. My heart, lung, & major veins were all at risk. It was the biggest challenge of my life w/ no guarantee I would survive. 46 nights in hospitals, 5 surgeries, & 60 bags of chemo later, I was declared #cancerfree! With my family, friends, & wife/caregiver @marylousandler by my side, I pulled through & now I thrive. I always felt there was something bigger at play. I was powered by the strength of knowing how many others I could help if I made it. And now that I am well & here to stay, it is my honor & privilege to spread the amazing philosophy of #embracelovefree in hopes of helping all humans to overcome our obstacles. And to the current #cancerpatients... I send you healing love & I hope you are able to see the amazing benefits you will receive by simply changing your perspective to that of embrace & love. And plz reach out to me anytime if you need support. Much love to all & happy #cancersurvivorsday to all the #cancerwarriors out there. ✌🏻❤️😊 . . . #cancersurvivor #cancerpatient #cancerwarrior #lifeaftercancer #cancersupport #cancersupportcommunity #cancersucks #fuckcancer #cancerfighter #tedx #ted #tedtalks #tedxtalks #tedxspeaker #inspiration #inspirationalspeaker #survivor #uclahealth #inspiring #overcomingobstacles #celebratinglife @tedxnormal https://www.instagram.com/p/CBJyY-AJ9Rx/?igshid=53n9ajjcmqej
