I am late to the party, I know that. I don’t even know if you check this blog anymore, but I just wanted to say thank you. Gosalyn has always been my favorite Darkwing Duck character (and as bad as it sounds Prime not Nega Gosalyn) and always wanted to see the paternal relationship she had with Darkwing translate somehow, someway to Negaduck. Not because I thought she would change him and make him a hero, but because she would accept him as is. The Geronimo series gave me that. I’ve read, and re-read it, several times in the last two weeks. I’ve looked for similar and while I haven’t found anything quite as in depth and amazing I will FOREVER be grateful for what you gave us. Thank you.

Gosalyn is an incredible character and it was an absolute joy and privilege to explore her in the company of colossal titans of creative genius in the Darkwing fandom. I, like you, adore Gosalyn Prime and Negaduck, and shoving them together to see what happened expanded to something beyond my wildest dreams.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed Geronimo (so much so you read it multiple times?? Surreal!). I don’t think we are ever late to discover something — whether that be a book, film, show, music, art, or fandom — but find it exactly when we’re meant to, and I’m beyond happy that you stumbled onto this series and liked it so very much. 💜
