Ranboo and Technoblade's trip through the Nether takes an unexpected turn.

Balancing precariously on the one block wide netherrack bridge, gusts of stinging cinders hooking under the seams of their armor, Ranboo crept behind Technoblade as he extended their way forward. Far below them, dark swirling soul sand stripped the bones of long dead monstrosities. The valley was too far across for an easy enderpearl throw (and they were starting to run low), but instead of crossing the relatively mob-less stretch of nether, Techno had broken out his bridging skills.

Another hot slap of air rocked Ranboo over the open drop and they crouched lower, trying to compensate for their spindly height. “Hey, uh, it's fine, but why didn’t we just cross the valley on foot?”

Techno looked up. “Oh! I guess you could have done that, huh? Soul sand doesn’t really agree with me.”

Liabilities vsmp au - Owen is force-cured by Legundo and his plans to kill Avid are put on hold as he finds himself reliant on Avid's skills as an alchemist when his disease returns. Avid yammers about various snake oil salesmen posing as doctors that he had to deal with growing up while Owen grapples with 200 years of touch starvation.

Avid: How is he more unnerving now that he's human? Owen: I brought you food. Do NOT read into it.

I'm sure an eager-to-please and bloodthirsty Avid being Owen's latest object of obsession is totally chill. Nothing to worry about Legs.

Super Scuffle - superhero au Phil has a run in with a new villain(?)

In the city of Esempi, wealthy CEOs and powerful political figures are being assassinated and beaten in the streets by a mysterious new villain. Corvidae, an established superhero in the city, expects the usual backlash against superpowered vigilantes. He doesn't expect to run into the new villain on patrol or the ensuing fight.

Back when I was first getting into dsmp and was seeing superhero aus everywhere, I had this au idea of Phil and Techno slowly becoming friends despite being vigilantes with radically different public perceptions. At some point Philza helps Techno out of a jam and Philza's reputation gets damaged for it and Techno feels bad about it and stuff (he's ruining his friend's brandTM). And on the opposite end, Techno rescues Philza at some point and it improves public perception of him.

These designs were done in a blind rush, so there's a lot I would change about them, Technoblade especially. He deserves a cooler fit and is too twiggy. Philza has no powers and uses tech/prosthetic enhancements. Technoblade has super healing.
