Water strider (Gerris sp.) checking a stonefly (Plecoptera) on the water surface. This image was shot by using the incredible @venuslaowa 24mm probelens, which permitted me to get low and close to this skittish animal without alarming it. It’s amazing how technology permits to get close to the animals today without disturbing them or having to build controlled condition situations. Après la botanique, l’entomologie (je n’y excelle guère) : des gerris ( sans Tom), un criquet clandestin qui voulait visiblement traverser la frontière dans la voiture de Christine, un papillon (un citron ?) et à nouveau des gerris.
