Regarding the Haibara/Nanami comic, if I may?
Haibara: Nanami! Let’s go!
Nanami: …oh, that’s right. [My] work has ended.*
Haibara: Entrusting [work] to him will surely be fine.**
Nanami: Enn.°
Haibara: That child is very strong!°°
Nanami: Enn.
Haibara: Oh, Nanami. I have so much i want to tell you.*
Nanami: …me too, Haibara.
*(Literally would be “work has finished”)
**(Lit. would be “will not be a problem”. Him here is Yuuji)
°(The mandarin equivalent of a hum of acknowledgement. This sound in context can be a tender sort of “mm”).
°°(Fun fact Haibara’s choice of “strong”, 堅強, is used to denote mental and ethical strength and resolve, not physical strength. And this is just me but from my impressions of Haibara and my own cultural background he is uttering this in praise of Nanami, for having raised a strong child. Telling someone they raised a good child/raised a child well is high praise, and would be especially meaningful to Nanami, because a child who is 堅強, especially in the JJK context, is someone who is upright and will not be easily broken by sorrows)

灰 is from 灰原雄, Haibara Yu. 灰 means “ash”, or “cinders”
七 is from 七海 建人，Nanami Kento. It’s somehow very poignant, and pretty, to me that there is 海 in Nanami’s name. 海 is “ocean”, or “sea”.
