Week Two : Frustrating Hello Tumblronis Sorry for the delayed posts even when I promised it wouldn't happen... The last time I posted was Day One of marathon training and it was successful. Actually last week as a whole was pretty great. If I wasn't running I did strength training and I worked out all the days I had planned. Then Sunday came and I had a shitty shitty run and my motivation was gone. Maybe it was because it was so stinking hot out, maybe I over did it in the other areas of my training, perhaps my body was tired. In all honesty though it was probably a combination of all of those things. As I was running I was second guessing myself and my thoughts included "This sucks" "How the hell am I supposed to run a marathon?" "I'm never going to be able to do this" On Monday I decided I was going to take a rest day and then it became a rest week ... My first run of the week was tonight -__- so not the look! BUT my run tonight was a victory! It was one of the best runs I had in a long time and when I was finished I had my motivation back. My thoughts tonight were "You can do this" "Just take your time you got this" and "Oh my god! I forgot about this song!" when Imma shine by Youngbloodz came on 8tracks. Honestly that song got me through the end of my run and it's safe to say it'll be going on my running playlist ! On the outro I'm glad my motivation is back and I'm ready to keep rolling with it !
