HE DOESN'T BELIEVE THEM! shoulders square, jaw tenses and vi can't help but bore holes into them with his stare. why would they continue to say such a damning ( DAMAGING! ) thing? was it some twisted enjoyment they felt in tearing him apart like this? the well of vi's jaw fills with bitterness. the muscles in his body draw tight. who was he to blame but himself though? at the end of the day it was him, him alone, the titular cause.

the angered exclamation still rattles sharply within his skull, his denial still imbittered beneath his tongue. 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝘿𝙀𝙍 𝙄𝙎 𝘿𝙀𝘼𝘿! & he just can't accept it. vi can feel the defeated slump of his shoulders even if he outright refuses to be honest with himself about it. even if he looks them in the eyes as he shakes his head ' no ' at the same damn time.
