#getting crap done

Checking things off my quarantine list:

-fix the bathroom faucet handles ✔️

-fix the toilet seat ✔️

-call the city about the leaves they never picked up (seriously, they drove right by our house and never picked up a single one that I raked up...)✔️

-called the insurance company to put a claim for the chip/crack in the car windshield✔️

-got the appointment for replacing the windshield✔️

-caught up with grading✔️

-ordered more groceries

I just wrote my entire senior paper in less than a week, which is saying something seeing that it is a 7 page analytical essay on comparing two different books and their author to a specific analysis while also using 5 different secondary articles

So I had some assignments that needed to be done by tomorrow...Well I did extra in preparation for Thanksgiving next week and I feel SOOO pumped!

Sorry, I just had those all queued up, and they would have trickled out over several days, and I just wanted to get it all out right now and stop dwelling on Robin Williams for a bit. Much as I miss him, I need my brain for productive things and that means not constantly being reminded that he's gone.

Which sounds callous. I guess it is. An artificial callus to insulate ALL THE FEELINGS from Getting Crap Done.

Actually, Fergie makes me want to write essays and poetry.

The secret to how I completed my Macbeth essays the night before they were due? A loop of Fergalicious and London Bridge. I'm not even kidding. It just makes the words come.
