before you teach something, make sure you get your facts straight. but even before that learn how to teach what is fact and what is an opinion. i don’t want to be told i am wrong just because i have a different interpretation of what someone wrote hundreds of years ago. what your interpretation is, is not fact and you should make sure the student realises that.
