Anyone out there with a good reason NOT to feed hungry kids?
Imagine being upset at a commercial that says sexual harassment and bullying are bad.
The Pennsylvania Ballet shared the following Facebook post
Pennsylvania Ballet
âA Facebook user recently commented that the Eagles had âplayed like they were wearing tutus!!!â Our response: âWith all due respect to the Eagles, letâs take a minute to look at what our tutu wearing women have done this month: By tomorrow afternoon, the ballerinas that wear tutus at Pennsylvania Ballet will have performed The Nutcracker 27 times in 21 days. Some of those women have performed the Snow scene and the Waltz of the Flowers without an understudy or second cast. No âsecond stringâ to come in and spell them when they needed a break. When they have been sick they have come to the theater, put on make up and costume, smiled and performed. When they have felt an injury in the middle of a show there have been no injury timeouts. They have kept smiling, finished their job, bowed, left the stage, and then dealt with what hurts. Some of these tutu wearers have been tossed into a new position with only a moments notice. Thatâs like a cornerback being told at halftime that theyâre going to play wide receiver for the second half, but they need to make sure that no one can tell theyâve never played wide receiver before. They have done all of this with such artistry and grace that audience after audience has clapped and cheered (no Boo Birds at the Academy) and the Philadelphia Inquirer has said this production looks âbetter than everâ. So no, the Eagles have not played like they were wearing tutus. If they had, Chip Kelly would still be a head coach and weâd all be looking forward to the playoffs.â Happy New Year!â
Do not fuck with the PA ballet they will end you
GIVE BALLET DANCERS THE RESPECT THEY DESERVE

Chinese Kids Are Getting Their Parents, Their Parentsâ Parents, And Their Parentsâ Parentsâ Parents Involved In A Meme
Thereâs a new meme in China, and itâs very wholesome. The challenge, called âfour generations,â includes four generations of family members making an appearance, from youngest to oldest. A son would call his dad, who then calls his dad, who then calls his dad. And a daughter would call her mom, who calls her mom, who calls her mom. The results are super cute.
The videos are being shared on video app Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, under the challenge name, âFour generations under one roof.â

This is legit the cutest and most wholesome meme omg

HUGGGGGGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Not being able to sleep for 3 nights has been insane. Not sure how to handle all this mess currently and falling asleep just brings bad dreams...
Fuck Trump.
what prision should be 4:
rapists
pedophiles
murderers
abusers
what prision shouldnât be 4:
non-violent drug dealers
drug addicts (who need help + support, not prison time)
protesters/activists
poc who get arrested 4 doing things white people would never get arrested 4 doing
rape/incest/abuse/etc victims who kill their attackers (self defense)
homeless people who are just chilling + not doing anything illegal (like a homeless person is just sleeping + the cops arrest them 4 some dumb reason)
a lot of people, actually (ex. people who steal like a single apple bc theyâre starving, people who take animals from abusive owners, squatters, undocumented immigrants with no/minor criminal records, prostitutes + sex workers, poor people, the mentally ill, etc)
Non-Scale Victories to Look Out For
⢠Better body temperature regulation
⢠Not tiring out as quickly
⢠Sleeping better
⢠Regularity in the bathroom
⢠Spatial awareness - fitting through things easier, not hitting hips or body on the corner of things or doorways
⢠Starting to crave unhealthy things less
⢠Looser clothing is an obvious one, even smaller shoe size
⢠In some cases with more water consumption, and I know it helped with me but the fading of stretch marks as I lost weight
⢠Positive demeanor, likely to be more motivated to do everyday things
Feel free to add on! There are soooo many ways to measure your progress other than the scale, itâs so easy to be discouraged but please look for other indicators like these!
âI am slowly learning that some people are not good for me, no matter how much I love them. I deserve someone who is gentle and kind because my soul is getting tired. Realizing that I deserve something good is one of the first steps.â

just calling it now
Its funny how eveey young generation is seen as the "me me me" generation but every time I personally talk to anyone over the age of 50, its all about how hard they've worked and that their money shouldn't go to anyone in need....talk about a "me me me" mindset. If I ever get to a point where all I thinl about is me, and not the peraon standing on the corner and needs help, I want someone to punch me in the face. There are more people in this world than just me. Help with change. Help those around you because when you're in that position, you'll need it too.
not to sound too millennial here but it annoys me so much when Iâm at a restaurant and someone Iâm with will complain about the service being slow like buddy pal itâs fine itâs not that important
You didnât waited 40 minutes for a dinner before havenât you?
i have but i also have, like, real problems
I waited well over an hour for food once at IHOP, because it kept coming out inedible. We finally asked what was going on, and it turns out that the ONLY cook had been working for 36 hours straight with only a short nap. I ordered the easiest thing to make, tipped the waitress heavily, and sent her back to the cook with a $10 tip for them, too, AFTER watching the 24-hour restaurant close the doors so that they could send the cook home for some rest. Yeah, Iâve waited 40 minutes for my dinner, and I didnât ask for a discount, we tipped VERY well, and sent the cook our best wishes. If something goes wrong with your restaurant experience, consider that there are real people back there, working under god knows what conditions.
âMillennialsâ are more human than their previous generations imo

This has such a baby boomer vs. millennial energy and i think about this exchange everyday
