I dunno how much you all know about me but I’m a SAHM and wife that homeschools. This is all by choice of course. I enjoy my life, and I know I’m privileged to be taken care of the way I am, so I’m not complaining here at all. But with caring for my family, the home, pets, etc. especially with my husband working out of state, I don’t always get a lot time for myself.

I like to read of course, but writing has been my “little something” just for myself. Just to know that I’m writing these little stories, and someone actually enjoys it, cares enough to read it, really warms my heart. I just wanted y’all to know what you mean to me, so sorry for getting all mushy, but I had to because y’all are just too sweet to me ❤️

IDC that this sounds super corny; TikTok literally changed me as a person.

I found pretty much EVERYTHING I LIKE from that app. I wouldn't have started watching anime if it weren't for TikTok compilations. I wouldn't have found any of the artists I listen to for the most part if I hadn't heard about them on TikTok.

TikTok introduced me to so many new forms of self expression as well.

I started cosplaying because I became obsessed with TikTok compilations. I started journaling/scrapbooking because I saw TikToks of other people doing it and thought it looked fun. I started editing because I watched so many edits on TikTok.

I would not be the person I am today if it weren't for TikTok.

And, even though it wasn't good for my mental health, I'm going to miss it and the community I found on it.

But nothing lasts forever, I suppose.

Farewell, TikTok. Thank you for (almost) everything.
