Kavi considered the idea. Kameron's eyes were fixed on him with a wolfish anticipation. Kavi had never really understood how anyone got excited about parties, least of all this one. The Blowout was legendary on campus. People stockpiled cheap alcohol as if it were the apocalypse. People wore less clothing than they should, meaning there was a lot of visible ass. Kavi was the sort who needed multiple conversations, preferably held sober, to feel okay about visible ass. "I wasn't planning on it," Kavi replied, twisting the gummy worm between his fingers until it snapped, "but I'm not not going, either."

the bass thumped through the walls, lights flashing as bodies pressed together on the dance floor. brooke leaned in close to kameron, her lips brushing his ear just enough to be heard over the music. “too crowded out here,” she murmured, her hand slipping into his. her eyes locked with his, a devious smirk appearing on her lips. before he could answer, she was tugging him down the hallway, past the noise, toward the closet door half hidden behind stacked cases of beer.

Letting out an annoyed huff, Cameron continued balancing on the crutches as he kept his weight off his injured foot. "Seriously? You brought me food like I'm some kind of wounded puppy?" His lips twitched with the faintest hint of a grin, even as his pride burned. "I told you, I don't need—hell, I refuse anyone helping me." Worst of all, he hated that the other didn't even flinch. Just grinned that stupid grin like he'd won some private championship just between them. Cameron shook his head, trying to force irritation back into his voice. "And what is this about 'that other thing'? You might be persuaded? Bro, don't even start. Not happening." He leaned heavily on the crutches and let out a long exhale, the irritation in his voice softening slightly. "But… Uh… Thanks for the food. Guess it's better than eating cereal for the third damn meal in a row." He smirked a little, reluctantly. "You're still impossible, you know that?" Then, with another subtle roll of his eyes, he added, "Fine. Go sit down. But don't start bossing me around like you usually do." With that, Cameron reached out to shut the door as best as he could, then started hobbling to the dining room on his crutches to sit down with him. "Just so you know, I will complain the entire time that you showed up unannounced without letting me know."

A small smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he caught Kyree's mouth again before he could pull back. "Yeah, but my 'CEO things' don't start until after nine. You?" His hand slid lazily over Kyree's hip, thumb brushing bare skin. "That shoot's not until later. You got time, and I'd rather spend it with you than a damn spreadsheet." Zion's voice dropped an octave, a little rough from sleep with his eyes half-lidded, but still intent. "Stay a little longer, Ky. Just this once, don't rush out."
