Today, I will not be discussing a particular food, but instead a particular style... and that is tapas! While immersing myself in the Spanish culture for the past week, I have learned that several local restaurants serve tapas on a daily basis. Some of the most common tapas served are typically croquettes, a Spanish omelette, olives, ham, or cheese. In relation to the American culture, these could also be known as a form of "appetizer" as they can be shared with a large group of people. As these are typically just for "grabbing a bite to eat", they are commonly eaten either mid day, such as around 1:30-3 pm or closer to dinner time, such as 8:30-10:30 pm.
