This is my Mabel Dies in the finale AU, Bill essentially kills her to punish Ford for not taking his deal right away. Stan still ends up tricking Bill and sacrificing himself, but because Mabel died they never end up using her scrapbook to bring his memories back, so Ford and Dipper both lose their twin. 😭😭😭 I’m making myself sad just writing this lol

If enough people are interested I’ll make a continuation of this, I have a few more ideas for it

Ok so I'm rewatching the Gravity Falls finale and I just realized this

Pacifica gave Mabel a golf club cause they competed against each other in mini golf, and she gave Dipper a ghost DVD since he helped get rid of the lumberjack ghost

My fondest memory of being a part of the fandom is when my younger siblings and I got up at 8am to watch Take Back The Falls on stream; it was the first time we got to watch an episode live! It was an unforgettable experience in general (I’m pretty sure I started crying the second Mabel did) but probably my favourite part of the whole thing, just because it was so funny looking back, was near the end when everything was getting wrapped up.

If I remember correctly it was when Soos had just inherited the shack. Everything was going great... and the stream freaking crashed. Of all the times. It took like a full minute for us to stop panicking long enough to rub our three collective brain cells together and try refreshing the page :P (luckily we didn’t miss too much lol, I think they were saying goodbye to Stan when we got it back ‘^^)

Happy finale-versary, everyone! I can’t even begin to describe what this series has meant to me, or where I would be without it.  It rescued me from some of the lowest points of my life, it inspired me to create after giving up, it’s introduced me to some of my closest friends that I hope I’ll have for life. I have so much love for everything about this show, and everything it has ever meant to me.

In commemoration, I made a nostalgic playlist on Spotify. Think of any song you saw in lyric comics, AMVs, fan-made animatics back in the day, and it’s on this playlist.

Thank you so much for everything you’ve given me, Gravity Falls. I’m never letting go.

I’m re-watching GF right now, and I saw a parallel between this scene from “The Headhunters”:

Both are crying over Stan who is “dead”, or more precisely, lost his “head” aka memories. T_T
