third day of classes! i've now met all of my teachers and i'm so excited for this year! it's already looking much better than the last.

pride and prejudice is reminding me once again why it is one of my absolute favorite books of all time, it's truly a masterpiece.

i also am finally getting notes and homework to post! not too exciting for me but good for this blog at least lol

guys i had so much homework today i'm melting. but it's all done! and i understood all of it! it's the little things lol

my surprise everytime i finish a precalc class or homework page and realize that i understand what i'm learning is absurd. it's been so long since i've actually enjoyed a math class!

chemistry has also been great, although my teacher and class aren't the best. ap world is also finally getting interesting, and i love my french and creative writing classes. the only class i'm waiting on to become substantial is english- i so badly miss lit circles and assignments and that's concerning

finished reading the great gatsby today! next classic - crime and punishment by fyodor dostoyevsky

i was too busy (lazy) to take pics of everything i did today, but i loved the idea that @study-with-aura gave me of posting my duolingo stats!

i've been super motivated with french lately (123 day streak!) and have really been enjoying that <3

today i haven't read much, but i'm currently reading the first harry potter, which i haven't done since second grade, and i forgot how much i love the series and how much space it holds in my heart.

i baked brownies with my sister as well (she baked them and i 'supervised' lol) and the house smells amazing now

i've also been studying for my permit, which i'll hopefully be obtaining soon!

my biggest accomplishment today was my precalc homework. i've been way too stressed about it and was procrastinating, but i finally did it and understood it all! i needed absolutely no extra guidance, and i felt so proud of myself after. i've never been the best at math, so this felt like a big step! however i have a feeling things are gonna get worse...

i'll be ending the night with a warm dinner, my books, family time, knitting and my night routine <3 might also call my friends if i'm not too tired!

my life has been too good recently guys. i bet you anything tomorrows gonna suck because things CANNOT be this good.

for one thing, I'M THE CAPTAIN OF MY VOLLEYBALL TEAM! i feel so so honored and incredible rn. and the second is that i'm (finally) getting my braces off on tuesday! just in time for homecoming so i'm feeling incredibly relieved.

schools been good, but wayyyy too much work. i feel slightly drained (especially in conjunction with all my clubs and out-of-school activities) but i'm making it work somehow lol

was able to do laundry today which was a relief, and i've been able to squeeze in some knitting and reading whenever i can.

ap world sucks right now because we have a long term sub who isn't the best, so it's just extremely easy and boring. on the other hand, precalc is starting to get rough and my teacher isn't the most understanding which sucks, but i have two friends in that class to help me get through it.

i cannot elaborate how mentally exhausted i am. tomorrow should be ok at least but i need the weekend asap.

it was just a lot of work, deadlines, and stress, plus having to stay after for a debate interest meeting, but i survived!

i'm picking up dune again, since i read about a quarter of it over summer before getting distracted and postponing it. it's truly so good, it just requires a lot of commitment that i didn't have then.

in creative writing, i started a story that i actually truly enjoy and may continue to build on, so that's exciting! all i'll say is the plot was ORIGINALLY heavily inspired by six of crows.

precalc is still good! my teacher started giving us assignments on deltamath, which is actually so so helpful and has so much clarifying info, and i'm starting to feel genuinely pretty confident in class!

this weekend is pretty busy, so we'll see how much i get done between volleyball, guitar, hoco dress shopping, and homework :)

this weekend was pretty busy so all my studying was crammed tonight lol but it went pretty well! precalc is starting to get... scary but i'm still feeling ok

been reading and writing a ton so i feel great, also just doing a lot that i love like volleyball, clubs at school, hanging out with friends, and planning for future events like hoco so i'm feeling very scatterbrained but good <3

tomorrow should be good except for precalc which i have absolutely no idea how that will go! we have a test and based on the homework it will either be super easy or the most difficult thing for my week. we shall see!

i also have volleyball and GUYS I'M TEAM LEADER. my coach is super super intense but i love her and tomorrow she's naming team captain, but she pulled me aside and said it would most likely be me so i'm so happy but also lowkey STRESSED ab tomorrow. wish me luck!

i've also got debate club and movie club this week which is exciting! i'm doing lincoln-douglas debate for the first time and the first movie of the year that we're watching it get out. hopefully it doesn't freak me out too much bc it's definitely out of my comfort zone! but i'm still very much anticipating those

8/22/22 - it’s pride and prejudice season <3

today was my first day of sophomore year! it went much better than anticipated, and i ADORE my french class! so excited to experience the rest of my classes tomorrow.

i swear i’ll be posting actual study content as SOON as i have actual assignments!
