Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is almost a month old and Ukrainians have not grown tired of defending their country.
Yet another Russian senior officer has been killed by Ukrainian defenders.
Ukraine Says It Has Killed Another Top Russian Commander
Ukraine has reportedly killed another Russian commander, which if confirmed would add to a significant loss of top military figures fighting for President Vladimir Putin since the start of the war.
Colonel Alexei Sharov, who commanded the 810th Guards Separate Order of Zhukov Brigade in the Russian Marines, was reportedly killed in the southern city of Mariupol, where tens of thousands of people remain trapped amid a siege.
The death was revealed in a Telegram post by Odessa military administration spokesman Sergey Bratchuk and reported by Ukrainian news outlets including Ukrinform.
Don’t expect this fatality to be reported “as is” on Putin-censored news media in Russia.
The Russian government has attempted to hide the extent of war fatalities from the public because the death toll is shockingly high for a four week war.
Observers in Belarus have spotted buses with most of the windows covered over which have been transporting the bodies of Russians killed in action near Chernihiv through the city of Gomel on their way to Russia.

A haunting column of buses in Belarus is believed to be carrying the bodies of hundreds of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine.
A voice can be heard on the footage saying: “It is not very clearly visible - but eight sanitary buses are moving…”
The ghostly footage is from Gomel (Homel) in Belarus, close to the border with Ukraine where war is raging.
It is assumed that the human “cargo” inside those buses is from battles with the Ukrainian army in the Chernihiv region.
It seems that Russian vehicles with a Latin Z inscribed on them have live soldiers but those with a Latin V contain dead ones.
Not all of the soldiers transported to Gomel are dead. Many are wounded and being treated in Gomel hospitals.
Some buses in Gomel have brought the wounded and maimed - rather than the dead from Putin’s war.
“They had to be hose-washed from blood,” according to one account.
“Most of these young men are incredibly hungry, saying they haven’t eaten properly for a week.
These may have been some of the conscripts who had been given rations which expired in 2015.
Russia treats its own military personnel like shit. They are just cannon fodder for Putin’s demented vision of re-establishing a tsarist or communist empire.
