So while ago I made kinda au from homestuck 2

Basically:

meat John was like dirk ghost to ultimate dirk but something happens that made john be life and dead in the same time

Description: John still gets nightmares about Afghanistan. That’s the worst part of it all, he thinks – he still has dreams about sand and drowning to death in his own blood. But they’re more memory than nightmare.

Review: John got killed in Afghanistan and woke up in 221b as a ghost. When Sherlock Holmes moves in, his afterlife gets a whole lot more interesting. I haven’t read a fic yet where one of the characters is a ghost (but I have where one is a hologram) and this was a lot better than I was expecting. It’s slightly angsty because you know they can’t really be together together, but it was sweet all the same.
