I love this song (Ok, I love all of them- otherwise, why would I be covering it?) but this is a very special song. Not only is it so beautiful and profound, but It’s a favorite of my dad- as well as the name of my late Grandma. 

It was raining when I recorded this, and you can hear faint sounds of rain and street life- but not as much as I wanted (It had calm down...). Perhaps if it rains again- I can capture it and add it to the track.

Also, TWO new Bar chords in this tune AND alternating finger picking! I also wanted to try recording the guitar and vocals as separate tracks this time...

Here’s my latest recording after taking two weeks off (although I still played the guitar everyday). Inspired by Bjork, who I had the privilege to see Saturday at Governor’s Ball with an amazing group of people :) This is from the movie “Dancer In The Dark”- and is one of my favorite Bjork songs. This is about her leaving this world....
