Do you guys remember this post talking about Quackity killing Techno in the prison? Yeah, well, let's talk about Techno only having one remaining life. I'm using some of the information and suggestions people gave me so just assume this is Tech dies ver. C or TDVC
Techno is desperately trying to dodge Quackity's pickaxe, knowing damn well that if he were to get killed, it'd be his last life. He knows what's going to happen, though. He's under no assumption that Philza would finally remember to check his will.
"Look away, Dre," he calls as a hoof slips in a puddle of Dream's blood, and though it's a small stumble, it's enough.
[TechnoBlade was slain by Quackity]
His body drops to the floor in a bloodied heap, crimson splattering against the walls and floor, coating Quackity and Dream in its droplets. It takes a moment for Dream to realize that it's him who's screaming so loudly, eyes locked onto the corpse of his only friend. Blood spills from the gaping wound in his face, his remaining eye is cloudy and it stares up into nothing. His screaming continues, even as Quackity yells for him to shut up.
It only gets worse as Sam enters the cell. He's mad mad mad because Quackity wasn't meant to kill Techno, he wasn't even close to being the same monster that Dream was. Even worse, Unlike Dream, Techno has a system. He has friends.
He has Philza Minecraft.
They need to go, they need to get the fuck out of there before Philza arrives because of anyone knows where they'd be hiding, it's certainly him. He always knows where Techno is and they're going to die if they stay here another moment. They can't afford to kill Dream, to give the server any reason to suspect that Techno's murder has anything to do with the prison.
Dream dissociates by this point, unable to fully comprehend just how horrible life is going to get and that Techno never dies Blade is cold and lifeless on the ground. Hes dead and he can't accept it. Even as Sam makes quick work of disposing of Techno's corpse, Dream convinces himself that every is okay, that Techno is okay, that he'll just respawn at home and it's okay it's fine fine fine fine fine—
Dream isn't okay. How could he be? He remains in this quiet, spaced out state long after the Warden executioner duo make hast to gather whatever supplies will fit into their inventories and drag him into the boat docked just outside of the prison. He doesn't move. Doesn't speak. Doesn't react.
As for the server, the response is mixed and confused. Everyone knows Quackity hates the anarchist as much as the other hates him, but no one believed he would be able to pull it off. That the untouchable Blade could fall. By Quackity at that.
As for Phil, his about to activate the stasis chamber when the death bell tolls. He feels his heart drop, shakily pulling out his communicator to see the message he wishes wasn't true. Techno. His Techno, with a single life, dead. He was too late. He must've been trapped in that denial spiral for hours until Ranboo and Niki drop into the room. Sorrow in their faces as they hug him, comforting him as the grief and rage fill him.
He ignores the urge to collapse to the group and cry. He ignores the server shouting in the chat, that only he knows where Techno's body may be. He slowly pushed away their hands, mind nearly blank from how overwhelmed he feels.
"Techno visited the prison last. I don't know how Quackity is connected, but I know he's killed Techno and that the prison has a clue as to why,"
And so they collect what can fit into their inventory, weapons and pots and wither skulls, and make their way to the prison. There is no one inside. No one to active the portal. Sam is gone, and so is Quackity.
Philza eventually finds his ghost lingering around the prison. He's nearly unrecognizable. Long, stringy pink hair falling over his face and dragging against the ground, his body twisted and hidden beneath his hair. Black ghostly blood follows wherever he floats. A single blood red eye peaks out from his shadowed face.
It's yet another reminder that Philza failed him. That he let his best friend die. And, unfortunately for him, it doesn't seem Techni had forgotten that either, when a claw swipes at him, threatening to disembowel him. "You left me! You left me to die!" He shouts, words nearly lost to the static filled, warped voice that echos in the empty field. Any friendship between the two is lost to the ghost as he can only remember the betrayals he felt, perceived or real. He refuses to listen to any words Phil can say in his defense, only focused on trying to kill him in return.
Despite all he wants to do is to hold his friend, he's forced to flee in order to survive long enough to avenge him. That he has to leave what's left of Techno hurts.
Philza has lost his best friend, and can't find even a hint as to where his murderer has disappeared too. What he does know, though, is that the second he sets his sights on to a certain Duck hybrid, death will seem a mercy.
Classic! Monsters! Au! DreamSMP. All of this is liable to change and I don’t watch some of them so if you have suggestions for any of them or ones I’ve yet to do then do tell! And as you can see with Niki, it doesn’t necessarily have to make sense for their personality, it could just be an interesting mashup
