My ongoing MCU story has angst aplenty, but I deeply enjoy the moments of levity between characters, and @ghostbite0 (https://ghostbite0.tumblr.com/) did such a wonderful job creating an illustration for Chapter 75: The Five Tenets where Shuri and Ayo were going to check on M’yra, and Shuri was utilizing her tech to dodge having a run-in with M’yra’s parents in the process.

Mal did such a wonderful job with their expressions, and I love the warmth and vibrancy of the scene. There is such thought and intention behind her decisions, and it is all woven together into a truly endearing piece that shows the unique relationship these two have.

✎↷: omg no please i actually really like viper and omen! admittedly i’m not like, crazy good at writing at writing the couple (i’m more of a crackhead if i say so myself) but if i don’t enjoy writing a ship much you’ll usually see me writing them less ;) but absolutely no don’t feel bad about requesting.. it’s some good soup if you ask me

i don’t think they’re a pda couple, but i feel like omen would initiate that kind of stuff in private when they’re really comfortable. given that he lacks a physical form like sabine’s, i think sometimes he just sits there and admires her. with all the love and respect in the world! and with omen, there’s a lot of silent appreciation too. he could walk into the room and just plant a little mwah on her hair, or like a brush against her shoulder, things like that. many soft affections, but they’re certainly there!

sabine returns the favor less, but not because she doesn’t like it. it’s more like she’ll spend her time (free time specifically) curled up with him reading a book, having quality good close-quarter time with him as her partner. they make the most comfortable reading corners or simple working spaces, so it’s really just the little motions that matter most for these two!

you know for a pairing like Omen x Viper to have several people speculating that they had a close bond or even that they were lovers of some sort before the whole Omen getting split incident there aren't as much people as I thought contributing to this pair think of the angst potential?

Omen's closet connection he has to his past life was with Sabine yet she refuses to tell him every detail of his life that's why he says "Don't die here, Sabine. I need your secrets" when match starts with an ally Viper.

But why would Viper disclose information from her (maybe) past love? Is it because she wants to protect him in some way? or is it because she wants to protect herself and does not want to resurface old memories between her and what she now consider Omen as a stranger. Or maybe she just doesn't have the right moment to reveal everything right away. also the fluffs with Viper and Omen??? Although I said Viper does not want to give Omen information of his past life I also like to think she sometimes let things slip like Omen's knitting hobby and how it kept him calm from workloads during his past life as her co-worker scientist for Kingdom
