It's been a long and challenging road, but after about 44 hours of work, I've finally finished this painting of Bucky, and I'm incredibly proud of the result. I hope you can feel the gravitas of the emotional moment I was trying to capture. It feels like I leveled-up with this piece and I hope you like it! ❤

Idk I think Alicia would have complicated feelings about giving up her life as a legendary figure in one world for a dollhouse-esque recreation of it in another where she is a smalltown mom and everyone around her is a strange facsimile of everyone she knew in her previous life. Like I know she specifically asked for it, in fact willingly placed herself in that situation with the intent of having a child and with the understanding that she would likely never see her world again. But still. Do you think she ever stayed up all night, panicking about the idea that she was wasting time and that all of her friends and peers and fellow citizens must already be dead or cursed, if Drippy was any indication, only to go outside the next morning and find the Cowlipha giving King Tom an extra treat for not running off chasing mice. Do you think she ever snapped awake while, like, cooking breakfast and realized she hadn't cast a single spell in years. Do you think she ever left Motorville. Do you think she would've eventually wanted to teach Oliver magic. Do you think she knew she'd die there. Do you think she preferred being called Allie because Alicia didn't exist anymore.

I thought something centering on Swaine and Drippy would be hard but this almost immediately popped into my head, though Drippy is the hardest guy to draw ever.

Oh hey i finished my Oliver cosplay

pretend that it hasn't been months since i posted about my cosplays. this project killed me in so many ways.

The guy is coming along! Just glued his head on — the rubber bands are holding it down until it dries. Still haven’t figured out how I’m gonna make his lantern but we’ll get there when we get there😅
