Heard you liked beeflies! This is the first I've seen and she was laying her eggs in mining bee holes!!

One of the holes, unfortunately the bees were too busy for any pics but I think they were either tawny mining bees or yellow legged mining bees

Also a funky beetle I saw nearby, Scotland if you can try and id

Finally a little beetle I rescued from my bird bath

I don’t like bee flies. I LOVE bee flies. This one is REALLY NICE. Really awesome to witness her laying eggs in the bee burrow. Bee flies are adorable but their larvae are of course parasitoids that feed on stored bee food and the bee larvae themselves. RIP, lil bees. I’m afraid I’d need a closer photo to ID the beetle, but they are an excellent friend either way. And so is the tiny one!

Hi, I posted an anon a while ago asking for help with my goldfish. I just wanted to thank you for posting it and allowing me to find all those helpful people. I've since completely upgraded and Lord Goldemort now has a way better quality of life as well as a bottom feeding friend called Draco Malfish

Oh, yeah, my dog is fine now! He had a growth of some kind on his side, and I took him in to have it removed yesterday.
