I know Chris is just speculating, but it'd make sense Mike and El reunite in the epilogue in the rooftop of the radio station, since they had an emotional scene there in the beginning of the season.

Yes, my unpopular opinion is:

I think it’s a smart guess. See my electromagnetism posts and whatever. She requires radio waves to work her remote viewing and piggyback ability. It’s also a location call back to their conversation at the beginning of the season.

Referring to El appearing as a “ghost” or apparition because she’s no longer in the real world: I used to binge watch ghost hunting shows as a kid and electromagnetic waves are how ghosts are “detected”. You might also know this equipment from the Ghost Files series since that’s Tumblr viral.

GHOSTGATE?

My first paranormal encounter was when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old at one of the most haunted places in Maine, a very old fort called Fort Knox. I was grabbed on the left shoulder by an entity in a spot called Long Alley, not maliciously, but as if someone was trying to walk past me in a hurry and tried to push me out of the way or catch themselves. This is a very common phenomenon within the fort and the team from the show Ghost Hunters even caught thermal anomalies in Long Alley where my encounter happened, which is both terrifying and validating.

Im not sure if I was clairsentient before the encounter happened but I certainly have been since. I’ve seen the (non-hostile) ghost that haunts my 4/5th grade elementary school and tend to attract a lot of minor paranormal activity to my house around Beltaine and Samhain.

Im also in possession of a painted portrait of Jesus that was made in memory of someone who I assume is the spirit attached to it. My mom and I found it while cleaning out her hope chest when we needed to move it, and no one knows how it got in there. There has never been a family member or friend on my moms side, my dads, side, or my sister’s father’s side of our family with the name that’s on the back of the portrait, and we’ve never been able to find an obituary in that name either. But there is a very significant spiritual presence that comes when I put up the painting during Samhain and Yule/Christmas. I wish I knew where it came from but I’m glad it came to me and not someone with less respect for spirits/entities/ghosts.

This lady wanted me to escort her to a shrine that’s THROUGH THE GHOSTFENCE ! Like, buddy, pal, there’s a reason people don’t go past the Ghostfence. It’s scary out there. It’s got like 9,000 things that want to murder you (as opposed to the typical 6,999 things, let’s be real). The sky bleeds while never-ending clouds of volcanic ash spew blight-riddled filth. I opened the Ghostgate and it felt like being in the Night’s Watch but with fire and volcanic hell all around me. Lady, please, don’t make me take you to this shrine inside the Nope Zone.
