Can I ask for some angsty la Squadra headcannons with an ex s/o that they dated in private that the rest of the gang didn’t know about and they broke up over some petty argument but after some time they start to miss them and want to get them back only to find out they’re dating another member of La Squadra (sorry if this is like weirdly specific ajdhajshs)
(it’s really not too specific, don’t worry! a good portion of angst is always nice to write, thanks for requesting ^^)
- he’d respect his ex s/o’s decision, albeit with a heavy heart
- the realization that their new lover is someone from La Squadra is really throwing him off though
- since they dated in private he never would have thought his ex would get together with one of his men
- as a good leader, there’s no way Risotto can let emotions change the way he treats his subordinates, so he’ll just have to force himself to accept the new situation
- Prosciutto doesn’t want to admit it at first, but he misses his ex dearly and wants them back
- seeing his ex s/o with their new boyfriend – a fellow team member at that! - would severely catch him off guard
- similar to Risotto, he’s also the type who tries his best as to not let his work get affected by sentiments
- although Prosciutto is aware that his colleague didn’t know about their past relationship, it’s still difficult to work together now
- poor fish boy is so heartbroken
- he’s always lost in thoughts now and barely pays attention to his work – which gets him into major trouble
- every time he sees the colleague his ex is dating now his motivation sinks to zero and he gets all gloomy and sad
- Pesci thinks to himself that surely, his ex s/o would be better off with his fellow team member rather than with a failure like him…
- ‘Don’t you want to give us another chance?’
- his ex s/o refuses and tells him that they are much happier now with their new lover…who turns out to be another member of La Squadra
- Formaggio is normally a chill guy, but he’d still act kind of colder to his colleague now because he feels somewhat betrayed
- just knowing that his ex is happier with a fellow colleague of his gets him awfully jealous
- okay, so this guy is somewhat of a drama queen, so you can imagine how this goes
- he’d be really salty whenever seeing the two around
- the others wonder why Illuso seems to be frequently visiting the Mirror World as of late, none of them know that he only hides in there because he doesn’t want to see his ex s/o together with their new bf
- the work atmosphere at La Squadra gets worse because Illuso flat out refuses to work together with his ex s/o’s lover
- it dawns on him the moment he accidentally sees his ex s/o being intimate with his fellow colleague that there’s no chance he’ll ever get them back
- Melone would hold no grudge against his fellow colleague though, he’s not the resentful type
- still, he’d be uncharacteristically gloomy and brooding
- he just hangs around La Squadra’s base and constantly thinking about his ex and regretting their break-up dearly
- he’d be sooo pissed off that he’d challenge his ex s/o’s new lover to a fight
- but before that his ex stops him and tells Ghiaccio to finally accept that their relationship is over
- it would be really awkward for everyone in the team because every time Ghiaccio enters the room now, it gets several degrees colder and he keeps throwing death glares at the colleague that is dating his ex
- Risotto would order him to a private talk in his office one day and tell him to pull himself together and that his behavior is seriously damaging the team spirit
- the talk helps to ease the situation a little, but Ghiaccio will still act mean towards his ex s/o’s new bf
