Introducing Ghoststar! Formerly known as Ghostfish, it was originally a loner before joining the clan on Moon 109. After the deaths of the current leader and deputy, as well as their head medicine cat happened all on the same day (Moon 161), the clan came together to select who would take their places. Eventually, they decided on Ghostfish, a decision that was supported by their new head medicine cat, Burgamot, who had been chosen due to now being the oldest and most experienced medicine cat in the clan. Burgamot had originally been a wandering healer who eventually decided to settle down and joined Forestclan. As a result, Burgamot doesn't read into dreams as much as other Medicine Cats might. However, after Ghostfish was suggested to be the clan's new leader, Burgamot recalled that they'd had strange dreams involving a translucent fish covered in exactly nine stars. After Burgamot shared this with the clan, they all agreed that Ghostfish was meant to be their new leader. So, on moon 162, Ghostfish went to recieve it's nine lives and chose Dustrapid to take be it's deputy.

history: born to a kittypet named sugar, sugar gave ghoststar to flickerclan to prevent her twolegs from taking him away and homing him somewhere else. as a younger cat, ghoststar was known for his prowess in fighting but also being very quiet. it wasn't until tensions in flickerclan over non-clanborn warriors began heating up that ghoststar found his voice. he rallied his fellow non-clanborn warriors to not tolerate their worse treatment from their clanmates, leading to flickerclan driving the cats out. he will never forget phantomstar's parting gift to him in allowing ghoststar and his cats to escape. once settling in their new home and gaining his nine lives, ghoststar named his new clan spiritclan for his cats' bravery, and to hopefully encourage integrity in his clan above all else.
