Day 6: Hand "Thank you for never giving up on me."
"The duty of the Protectors is to maintain a balance between the two worlds and give souls a chance to either be reborn or live out their rest in peace."
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!
Q: [The mysterious Christmas lady smiled a little with barely noticeable sadness] "That's so," she smiled a little wider, stroking the girl's head. "And I see you're an independent girl. I'm in this town... A bit a new, let's just say," she giggled merrily. "Can I at least ask you for advice on what interesting things to look for in this town?
A (Freya's POV): "You a'ived in the tow' just in time! In winter, the st'eets become mo'e beautiful and lively than anything else, and it's easier to find somet'ing int'esting! But please, put on a sca'f... it's for your own safety! Thank you!
"The most interesting stuff you can find here - Carnival of Light! On your holiday (Christmas and New Year), everyone gathers to find a lot of cool, warm and sweet THINGS! Now I'll tell you from who it's better to buy them!"
[read left to right]
"I'll sta't with Grandma Joy! She has the most delicious fruits, especially tange'ines: every year she gives us a bag, and we give her a pie (a signatu'e recipe!). Uncle Leon also gives jokes, and G'andma laughs so hard that the Christmas lights light up brighter!
Mr. and Mrs. F'oggit are very impo'tant persons of the Town. Thanks to them, we can find a lot of int'esting things, they 'un the town (the mayors of the city). The P'otectors (my family) are the assistants of the mayors, they're t'ansmit news from the wo'ld of the living and the dead. Mr. and Mrs. F'oggit know the whole Town and beyond, they will always tell where and how to find it! (but you can ask us too! Oh, they also have a big-oh-og bodygua'd!)
And this is Mr. C'ook! You have to be ca'eful with him, he's mischievous and toothy, he may sta't be mean with you, but don't give in to his p'o-vo-ca-tions! He made ve'y tasty dumplings, and if you compliment him for his hard wo'k, he will be softed to you."
"I think' you see them on the way. Oh-oh! Also i want to int'oduce you to my family, i guess we... can...."
"Mama!"
"Mama!" "Oh hey, sweetheart! I'm looking everywhere of you, where have you been?" "I b'ought a friend, they were wonde'ing what was inte'esting in our town!" "I see, do you introduce to us?" "YEAH! She's Alive', just like you! meet my mama!"
"Greetings!"

CW: Scary faces! Q: What are Curses and how do they appear? How do the Protectors deal with them?
Curses are the souls that could not find peace in the Ghost Town. Having done something unforgivable, they succumbed to the darkness and wreaking havoc all around.
Outwardly, they are no different from Townies, but there are three main points:
1. They almost never appear in the light.
2. When you come in contact with them, you feel sick.
3. THEY CAN ERASE YOUR MEMORY.
Curses that live off the memories of the Alivers, because they have lost their own, thus make the whole world experience horror anew. They are divided into weak and strong. It's possible to free the weak from oppression, provided that they themselves want it. Strong ones... a little more complicated.
Therefore, the duty of the Protectors is to maintain a balance between the two realms and calm the souls, giving them the opportunityto either be reborn or live their rest in peace.
