Here are the results. A side by side comparison of the finished product. That clear coat is where you see the difference. I think as far as colors go, the Acrylics will work just fine, as long as you seal it properly. You can clearly see the epoxy looks much better. Less textured, shinier, and physically more resilient. We went through ALL of the steps from start to finish, including supplies, and a surprise at the end. I opened and tested out one of those wood graining tool kits, just to see if it lived up to the hype... and it did NOT disappoint. It was awesome.
