Here is a contact sheet of the images taken of people’s faces, the selection process isn’t easy, however it is based on what images go together best, what creates a nice contrast and what seems the most interesting.

There are some short sequences I am really proud of. Whenever I'm able to connote a meaning with success it makes me feel as though I have won over my audience. This is what representation is all about, and challenging it is all about finding an alternative way to grab somebody's attention. This is the main reason for which I'm presenting my project through a blog. It doesn't just bring people closer to me, but it brings people closer to my work, and that's what really matters.

this is a really intricate GIF as the colours in the trees have been made blue within each frame individually, creating a surreal efect, but ultimately a landscape which represents the subject. He is bright, and colours, and his personality is what shines through.

the movement in this GIF is really interesting. if you observe it, the camera crabs around the subject as he lifts the camera up to his eye, and back down to create a dual motion within the moving image. Not only this, but it also connotes his attentiveness when he observes the image he took as he looks down, into the camera. There is a lot going on here for a short GIF

another short commercial film, this one features a vintage exhibition. although this says nothing about somebody’s personal identity, it does challenge the norm. and it features products and objects which have either been made by somebody as an expression of art, or have been objects and products which people once used frequently on a daily basis, leaving behind traces of what may have been part of their identity.

Originally, a simple GIF, this video has the addition of better quality, classy music and better editing. This is like the refined version of the original GIF.

there's something about identity and the representation of it which has intrigued me from the beginning. I feel like there's nothing quite like representing somebody through forms of art.
